Rest for your soul is a local outreach in Southeast Roanoke city that is led and funded by Buchanans in the Wild. Team members consist of godly men and women from multiple churches in the area. While it is an outreach for the entire community of SER, we work mostly with the homeless, providing them with a meal, hygeine supplies, Bibles, evangelism and prayer. We also have set up a resources page that list varies resources available such as drug rehabilitation facilities, food banks, help with housing, etc..
The streets can often be a harsh and unforgiving place, yet they are also where we find individuals who are hungry for hope and healing. Through our campaign, we aim to deliver hot meals, basic hygiene items, and Christian literature, including Bibles, to those living on the streets. We believe that by addressing both physical and spiritual needs, we can truly make a difference. Our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to offer not just temporary relief, but also a path to lasting transformation through prayers and resources for overcoming addiction and homelessness.
