Good morning all, we hope and pray that everyone is doing well. I just wanted to send out an update letting you know what’s been going with Rest For Your Soul this past week.
The Trap house (drug house) behind Dollar General that the team has been praying over for months got shut down Tuesday. Multiple police officers evicted the people that were “living” there. And God was so good to us that we got to see the prayer answered in real time.
I saw the young man E. on Tuesday. He had completed the detox phase and was enrolled in an outpatient recovery program, had a job and was getting ready to get a place to live. We had been talking to and praying with E for several weeks with no real progress until his heroin got laced with tranq and he started getting all these lesions that were getting severely infected. Jeff C. was able to get him started in detox. E looks a lot healthier and is glad to be in a better situation. Pray that he continues on this path and that the Holy Spirit weighs heavy on his heart to give his life to Jesus.
