Hello everyone. We hope you and yours are doing well.
We wanted to let you know about some upcoming needs for Buchanans in the Wild. We are also unveiling our new logo.
Upcoming needs.
Melissa and I have a few missions trips scheduled this spring. If things go as anticipated, God willing, we will leave for Ukraine in mid April. We will be with a team from Calvary Chapel Lynchburg. Our mission is to do outreach and service projects in Nizhyn. I was part of a team in Nizhyn a couple of years ago rebuilding a church. After leaving Ukraine, Melissa and I hope to go to Tbilisi, Georgia. We want to visit and help our friends Jason and Britany Havertape for a couple of weeks. Then, we plan to meet another team from CCL in Manila. Our goal there is to do VBS and school supply distribution with Jaydon and Maddie Mook at the Access Center for Youth and Children. We will also collaborate with Carmen Morrissey at Calvary Chapel Community Church.
We are asking that you join us in prayer about this trip. We would be gone 6-7 weeks. During this time, Alex would manage our business and home entirely on his own. The Rest For Your Soul team would continue the weekly outreaches.
Pray for:
-Provision. We need the funding to make the trip(s) and continued funding for the Rest For Your Soul outreach.
-Discernment for whether or not this is what God wants us to do.
-Wisdom for us while on the trip, for Alex holding down the fort and our team to maintain the outreach.
-We are also running low on full size Bibles. If you have any extra Bibles, we will gladly take them. We also accept Bibles from churches with an abundance in Lost and Found.
We have a new logo. A dear friend of ours, Heather Ream, designed an awesome logo for us.
