I just wanted to send out a quick update.
General
We recently switched platforms for receiving donations. Now there are no fees so we get 100% of what you send us. You can choose to make a small donation to the company that processes the donations if you like but it is absolutely not required.
Local Ministry
The Rest For Your Soul outreaches have been a little slow the last few weeks, between 30-60 people each day. But I have no doubt that as the weather continues to warm up, that will increase.
Our team and support base has been growing over the last few months.
We now have a couple that works to verify information about different resources and gathers information to help streamline the application process for longterm rehab facilities. we couldn’t have gotten our resources page off the ground without them. Thank you Adam and Liz
We have a few people who help by doing video visitation/discipleship/Bible study when people that we know from the street get arrested. This has been a real blessing and seems to be producing fruit. Thank you Jeff, Hope and Mandi.
Calvary Chapel Lynchburg (our home church) has been helping us with prayer and financial support for several months now. Very much appreciated.
Calvary Chapel Bedford has partnered with us with prayer, monthly financial support and sending people to help on the street team. Thank you immensely.
Parkway church in Roanoke has agreed to start helping us by purchasing the supplies and putting together some of the hygiene kits that we hand out. As well as prayer and other connections around Roanoke.
We have also added a link to our Home page on our website for our Amazon store where you can purchase much needed supplies we use for our Rest For Your Soul ministry and they will be shipped directly to us.
International Ministry
As for our upcoming trip to Ukraine, Tbilisi Georgia and Manila Philippines starting April 15th: We are about 2/3s of the way to our financial goal of $8000. Thank you to all who have contributed to that. You guys Rock.
We will be sending out frequent updates during the 7 weeks we will be gone.
