I met these 3 young ladies when I was here in 2024. They have grown a lot, physically and with the Lord.

We arrived back in Ternopil (western Ukraine) late Sunday night and slept at the church. The Ternopil team took us on a tour of Ternopil on Monday before the rest of the CCLburg team left for home, boarding the train at midnight.

Melissa and I had to change are plans and skip going to Tbilisi. After our flight from Tbilisi to Manila was canceled and with so many airlines canceling flights through the Middle East due to the issues there, we couldn’t find a replacement flight that we felt comfortable with.

We have an Airbnb and will spend an extra 8 days in Ternopil and then fly to Manila a few days earlier than planned.

We hope to use the time in Ternopil to rest a little and help out at Calvary Chapel Ternopil where we can.

We hope to use the extra time in Manila to visit Carmen M. (a missionary there) and Pastor Andy at Calvary Chapel Community Church in Manila.

All of which is completely in God’s hands.

The Rest For Your Soul ministry in Roanoke is going well. Alex B. (our son) and team there are doing a great job, especially since the number of people that they have been ministering to is increasing. We would also like to thank the crew from Calvary Chapel Bedford for filling in while Melissa and I are gone.

As always, we greatly appreciate your prayers and support. Know that God is using them.

Much Love and may God bless you.

Derek, Melissa and Alex
