Dear Friends,
God is moving in our ministry, and a major door of opportunity has opened for Rest For Your Soul!
We have located a 1,333 sq. ft. rental property just one block from our current outreach spot. While street preaching on the corner has been fruitful, this space would give us a warm, quiet, and secure home base to serve this community on a much deeper level.
Why this matters:
- From 2 Hours to Everyday Impact: Instead of a brief weekly street gathering, we can host ongoing Bible studies and worship.
- Deeper Discipleship: A quiet environment to build relationships, counsel, and disciple people one-on-one.
- Practical Care: A safe space to serve warm sit-down meals and assist people with housing, rehab, and social service applications.
The Need: Our total operating cost for the space—including rent, utilities, and insurance—is under $1,800/month. We are currently in discussions with Calvary Chapel Lynchburg, but we are also inviting our core supporters to step into this vision with us.
Would you prayerfully consider making a 12-month pledge to cover these facility costs?
- To make a pledge: Contact me directly at derek@buchanansinthewild.com.
- To give online: Visit our Local Ministry donation page and select the “Building” designation.
